TCS Foreclosures: Bill Grom

Bill Grom (Director of Commercial Investments) brings a wide range of experience to TCS Foreclosures.  He served with distinction in the United States Air Force for 23 years in numerous flying and command positions.  His flying experience included over 8000 hours in 16 different aircraft and over 300 combat missions. There were some notable events in his military career.  He was inducted into the Mach 2 Club, a distinguished group of airmen who have flown at greater then Mach 2, twice the speed of sound.  He is also a member of Artic Circle Club, having served as commander of a remote radar tracking station located 60 miles above the Artic Circle.

After retiring from the Air Force, he decided to put his command experience to work and accepted a job as a city manager, which he held for seven years.  But, his entrepreneurial spirit finally got the best of him, and he entered the real estate industry.

Starting as a Realtor in Massachusetts, he quickly decided that listing one home or sale at a time was not an efficient or profitable way to sell real estate.  Using his experience as a city manager, he visited every assessor’s office in the state and pulled from public records every large vacant piece of land he could find.  With the owner’s name and address in hand, he went knocking on doors, asking the owner if he would like to sell all or a portion of their land.  He sold his first land listing to a single family home developer, and acquired the listing to sell all of his new homes. After doing this several times, he took a proposal to his company’s regional manager for the creation of a centralized new homes division.  The proposal was readily accepted, and as the manager of the New Homes Division, quickly expanded the program into existing new home and condo developments throughout a three state region.

Bill’s next venture brought him to Wall Street as a stock broker.  He worked for several smaller regional firms as a retail broker, sales trainer, sales manager, compliance officer, and office manager.  These firms were eventually bought out or merged into larger firms during the years which provided an opportunity for him to step up the ladder. Bill retired in 2004 as Executive Vice President of Investments from one of the industry’s largest firms.

Always intrigued by the challenges of the real estate market, he returned to the profession, specializing in residential commercial real estate.  He is well prepared to share his expertise and experience with the Trinity Consulting family.

Bill’s educational background includes a BS in Business and Finance from Lehigh University and an MBA from Southern Illinois University.
